Madonna has topped the list of the most played artist in the UK in the last 10 years. Phenomenal considering the UK invented pop and have such superstars like..The Beatles who came second and Robbie Williams who was second runner-up.
The 51-year-old singer had her first hit in the UK with Holiday in 1984. Madonna was the only female singer to make the top 10.
Data was based on play on TV, radio and public places including pubs, clubs and shops.
